Origin and plans
The project idea was first mentioned by CGagunga. And then I, F4celess took on the task and created a online document with instructions. As of July 1st 10 artists shared their "ponysona".
The concept is to include as many artists as possible in a single group picture. The picture will be expanded as more people add to the project.
How to submit your picture
Well it's as easy as sending a email. But before you draw your addition to the project. Please read the following guidelines:
Draw a pony (or other canon creatures) in MLP style, that reflects you as a artist. Because we are showing off the artists, not their OCs with this collab.
It is VERY important that you draw it yourself. Since this is a “group shot” of the awesome creators of fanart, you should pose as if you are in said group shot. So avoid side-profile drawings, Generator ponies and “messy” poses.
What media, style or technique you use does not matter. The most important thing is that you have a decent resolution for optimal quality, also stick to a all-white background. This makes it easier for me to put it all together nicely. A backgroundless PNG is superb.
Remember to do it all in your own personal style. We want variety!
Mandatory information
The lighting in your picture should be from above and in front of the character. Try to think about it as a 3d space where you are in a simple room and the light source are a bit up on the wall in front of you. Also try having the character facing the “camera”. Anything else will look strange in the final compiling.
We do not accept explicit drawings. of any kind.
